How many GB to choose for your iPhone or iPad?

Choosing the right amount of storage depends on how you use your device. Here's a breakdown to help you make the right choice:

32 GB or 64 GB

  • Suitable for: Basic users.
  • Ideal for:
    • Basic apps (social media, email, surfing the internet).
    • Few photos and videos.
    • Streaming music and movies (e.g. Spotify or Netflix).
  • Not suitable for:
    • People who use a lot of large apps or want to store offline.
    • Large photo collections.

128 GB

  • Suitable for: Average users.
  • Ideal for:
    • Lots of apps and a fair amount of photos/videos.
    • Regularly downloading content (offline movies, music, etc.).
    • Casual gamers or photo enthusiasts.
  • Not suitable for: Professionals with extensive media collections.

256 GB

  • Suitable for: Advanced users.
  • Ideal for:
    • People with large photo libraries or high-quality videos (e.g. 4K).
    • Lots of offline content (movies, series, music).
    • Gamers who play big games.
  • Not suitable for: Light daily use.

512 GB or 1 TB (iPad Pro models and top iPhones)

  • Suitable for: Power users and professionals.
  • Ideal for:
    • Creative professionals (e.g. video editors, photographers, graphic designers).
    • People who manage extensive media collections.
    • Lots of offline content and big apps.
  • Not necessary for: Average daily use.

Considerations when choosing

  • Cloud storage: If you use iCloud or other services, you can choose less storage.
  • Photos and videos: High resolution takes up a lot of space.
  • Apps and games: Some apps are very large (over 5 GB each).
  • Upgradability: You can't expand the storage, so opt for something a little bigger.

Advice

  • Light user: 64-128 GB.
  • Average user: 128-256 GB.
  • Heavy user/professional: 256 GB or more.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM REFURBISHED?

You want to know what you are buying, especially if you want to order online. According to our quality guarantee there is only one choice in technical terms: Premium Refurbished. How your device looks , you can still choose yourself. That is why we give on this page a description as clear as possible about what you can expect from the appearance of a refurbished device.

We use star ratings for this. This way you can perfectly determine your choice. We therefore find clear and honest communication to our customers very important.

We apply the strictest standards in the field of evaluation of the appearance of refurbished devices. This applies to iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs, laptops and other models.

As New A refurbished product with a 5-star rating looks almost as new. You can expect that you will see almost no traces of use on a refurbished iPhone, for example. The screen has no visible scratches, the casing looks excellent and has no dents or scratches. Very exceptionally, you may see a very light trace of use if you hold an iPhone up to the light, for example. You choose a 5-star refurbished device if you want your new device to look excellent. There may be light traces of use on the bottom of a MacBook, laptop or iMac, but not on the "visible" parts.

Very good. A refurbished product with a 4-star rating still looks great. The difference with a 5-star rating is that there may be one or more small inconspicuous scratches visible on, for example, the screen or the casing. Sometimes one small mini dent can give an otherwise perfect device a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star rating. Choosing a 4-star rating means that you are choosing a refurbished smartphone, tablet or laptop that simply looks very good. Moreover, you benefit from it, as they are priced even cheaper.

Good. A refurbished product with a 3-star rating has more obvious signs of use. Scratches on the screen and/or on the casing. Small dents or dents can also occur. Of course, the device is 100% technically in order. Here you know that you are getting extra benefit because the device already shows more signs of use.

VAT Class

Items may be subject to the Normal VAT scheme or to the VAT on the Margin scheme.

Standard VAT Scheme

There is a 21% (depending on country) VAT levied on an article. This is included in the price. For VAT-liable customers, this VAT is deductible from their VAT return.

What is VAT on the Margin?

There is no deductible VAT on products that are sold under VAT over the Margin. For consumers and non-VAT payers this does not matter that much. As a VAT payer it is usually more interesting to purchase a product according to the normal VAT scheme. However, the amount is 100% deductible as a cost.

For products with VAT on the Margin, an "M" is mentioned at the end of the description. The correct legal text is mentioned on the invoice.
