WHAT IS REFURBISHED? EXPLAINED FROM A TO Z.

DEFINITION OF REFURBISHED

The word refurbished is an English word that literally translated means renovated or refurbished.

In recent years, this term has also gradually come into use in the electronics and telecom market. The term refurbished is used to indicate that, for example, an iPhone cannot be sold as new.

What our definition of refurbished is not : There is sometimes the misunderstanding that a refurbished iPhone or MacBook is a defective device that has been brought back to life and is being patched up. That is certainly not the type of refurbished device that you will find with a Microforce Premium Refurbished smartphone, MacBook or laptop.

At Microforce we only refurbish devices that are still functional. The refurbishment process is an extensive procedure in which, for example, every refurbished iPhone is examined for its full functionality (50 criteria) using diagnostic tools and effective testing of the iPhone. The battery is very important. You can be sure that the battery of a Microforce Refurbished device is in perfect condition. Usually a new battery is simply installed. Furthermore, the device is completely cleaned internally and externally, all data is removed and completely reset to factory settings with the latest software version already installed.

We also believe that you should not replace every device with a scratch on the housing, for example, with a new one. Then you actually completely ignore the usefulness and purpose of a sustainable approach. Everything about CPUs (Central Processing Unit) or processor

The CPU largely determines the computing power of your device. Laptops are mainly equipped with Intel processors. Macbooks come with both Intel and Apple M CPUs. We hereby provide brief advice on which processor might be suitable for you.

Intel CPUs

1. Intel Core i3

Apple has introduced its own line of ARM-based processors for MacBooks in recent years, known as the Apple Silicon chips. Here is an overview of the main Apple Silicon chips and their differences:

  • Use: In entry-level models of the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mac mini and iMac.

BTW Klasse

Artikelen kunnen onderworpen zijn aan Normale BTW-regeling of aan de BTW over de Marge regeling. 

Normale BTW Regeling

Er is een heffing van 21% (afhankelijk van land tot land) BTW op een artikel. Dit zit in de prijs inbegrepen. Voor BTW plichtige klanten is deze BTW aftrekbaar bij hun BTW-aangifte.

Wat is BTW over de Marge?

Op producten die onder BTW over de Marge worden verkocht zit geen aftrekbare BTW. Voor consumenten en niet Btw-plichtigen maakt dit dus niet zoveel uit. Als BTW plichtige is het meestal interessanter om een product aan te schaffen volgens de normale BTW regeling. Wel is het zo dat het bedrag 100% aftrekbaar is als kost.

Bij producten met BTW over de Marge staat een "M" op het einde van de omschrijving vermeld. Op de factuur wordt de correcte wettelijke tekst vermeld.

Simkaart kiezen

Alle smartphones zijn uitgerust met een eSIM (een digitale SIM-kaart). Recente modellen worden som ook enkel uitgerust met een eSIM (eSIM only) en beschikken dus niet over een fysieke Nano SIM. Afhankelijk van jouw operator is het belangrijk de juiste keuze te maken. Afhankelijk van jouw smartphone wordt er 4G of 5G ondersteunt.

SIM/eSIM

Deze smartphones zijn zowel uitgerust met een fysieke Nano Simkaart als met een eSim en zijn dus geschikt voor alle operatoren.

ESim Only

Smarthones enkel uitgerust met een eSIM zijn niet geschikt voor alle operatoren. Hierbij een overzicht per land.
