Microforce processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself, for example when you visit our website, when you purchase products or services, or when you contact our sales or service department.

- Interests and type of goods already purchased

- Mac address of your smartphone, as far as you allow this
- IP data when visiting our site
- Customer data through our own IT systems

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact us at marketing@microforce.be and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data:
Your personal data is collected to provide you with optimal and personal customer service. Your personal information gives you easy access to our products and services and you will be informed of special products that may be of interest to you. In addition, we use your personal data to keep you informed of the latest products, offers and other information that may be of interest to you.
Microforce processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to provide our services
- To inform you about changes to our services and products
- To deliver goods and services to you
- Microforce analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
Is it mandatory to provide your personal information?
Of course you have the free choice whether or not to leave personal information with Microforce. However, if you choose not to do this, in most cases we will not be able to sell you the product you wish to purchase or respond to your questions when you contact us or visit one of our stores .
No exceptions are possible to the above provisions unless you can invoke serious and justified reasons for this.
If you wish that the collected data not be used for publicity purposes, you can report this free of charge by email at marketing@microforce.be and/or you can unsubscribe from our communications via the 'unsubscribe' link that is present on every communication we send.
Automated decision making
Microforce makes [yes/not] decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without a human being involved (for example a Microforce employee).
How long we keep personal data
Microforce does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We will then delete all data we have about you. Or we use your data anonymously, because we need certain data for internal analyzes and reports such as the value of your order.
In practice, we adhere to certain periods, after which we delete your data. Here they are:
- We delete recorded telephone conversations after 30 days as standard, unless we have a legal obligation to keep a conversation for longer.
- We do not store camera images of our stores for longer than 4 weeks unless we have a legal obligation to keep them for longer.
- We delete inactive customer accounts after 7 years. After that period, we only use your data anonymously for internal reporting.
- The tax authorities require us to keep our administration with your invoice, payment and order details for 7 years. After that, we only use anonymous data for internal reporting.
- If you have your product repaired or replaced by Microforce, we will keep your report and contact details for 7 years. We then only use your data anonymously for internal reporting.
- If you have registered for the newsletter or have given permission to receive personalized messages, we will keep that permission for 5 years. Even if you decide at some point that you no longer want to receive the newsletter or personalized messages, we will keep the withdrawal of your request.
- We do not store the emails you receive from us for longer than 60 days. So you don't have to worry that you will receive the same email from us more often. After that period, we only use your data anonymously for internal reporting.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Microforce only provides data to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Microforce uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. Microforce uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preference settings are remembered. We will make every effort to correct any alleged violation. If a mutual settlement is not possible, you can contact the privacy committee for further information.
Only Belgian law applies to this agreement and only the courts of Ghent have jurisdiction.
How we protect personal data
Microforce takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or via marketing@microforce.be
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your personal data and ensure its confidentiality. Including measures that protect the data against infringements, loss and unlawful processing. For example, we have taken the following measures;
- All persons who can access your data on behalf of Microforce are obliged to maintain confidentiality.
- We have a username and password policy on all our systems;
